Senior Website Developer

Our client is looking for a Senior Website Developer to join our team full time. This client is a digital marketing agency whose main areas of focus are helping eCommerce brands to grow their most profitable revenue channels. This position will be a fully remote position.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Build an interactive, engaging, competent Shopify and/or Wordpress store(s) to boost sales and increase revenue

• Design customizable Shopify and/or Wordpress themes and alter existing templates according to established benchmarks

• Closely collaborate with UI (User Interface) and UX (User Experience) design teams to build strong, unique, and state-of-the-art user experiences

• Develop seamless connections with platform APIs , marketing tools, and Shopify and/or Wordpress apps to optimize the store for peak efficiency and functionality

• Enhance store performance by regularly testing and debugging the website

• Provide adequate technical support and quality assurance to keep the Shopify and/or Wordpress store(s) running seamlessly

• Boost conversions by properly optimizing the website

• Develop responsive layouts for desktop, tablet, and mobile platforms.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience developing E-Commerce websites (Shopify and Wordpress are a must)

• Excellent working knowledge and experience with HTML, CSS, jQuery, and WordPress and Shopify theme development.

• Must be organized and detail-oriented to efficiently execute and manage a variety of projects simultaneously.

• Ability to set up and build new WordPress and Shopify sites, and customise existing sites.

• Technical knowledge for maintaining WordPress and Shopify websites.

• Knowledge of Customization of themes & plugins

• Experienced and proficient with responsive design and development.

• Write clean, well-designed code and contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle.

• Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages.

• A passionate approach to your work that includes testing, writing clean code and looking for new and innovative ways to constantly improve.

• Good communication skills.

• Dependability and attention to deadlines and details.

• IMPORTANT: Must be willing to work US East Cost Hours (Approx. 2pm-11pm SA Time)
