As a Sales Analytics Analyst, you will help lead the evolution of the Ortho Joint Replacement analytics function to enhance insights into field sales performance, identify key trends, and support strategic decision-making. This role combines technical expertise, business acumen, and cross-functional collaboration to develop and maintain reporting tools, drive process improvements, and deliver executive-level insights.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field
- Proficiency in SQL, including the ability to independently write, debug, and optimize queries involving JOINs, window functions, aggregations, and filtering logic using tools such as SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) and Databricks
- Expertise in Microsoft Power BI, with a strong grasp of data modeling, DAX, star schema design principles, and dashboard development — including the ability to leverage existing enterprise dimension tables and data structures
- Strong attention to detail and quality orientation, with experience validating data outputs against multiple sources, identifying anomalies, and resolving discrepancies before delivery
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint for executive-ready reporting
