We are StraighterLine, a U.S.-based educational company founded in 2008. Our core mission is to make higher education more affordable and accessible. We offer a wide range of low-cost, online courses that are equivalent to general education courses typically required for a bachelor's degree. We're proud that the American Council on Education's College Credit Recommendation Service (ACE CREDIT) has evaluated and recommended college credit for our courses. While we are unaccredited ourselves, we've built strong partnerships with over 150 accredited colleges and universities that readily accept our courses for credit, and thousands more have accepted them in the past. Each year, we help over 45,000 learners take significant steps towards their academic and professional aspirations. Whether students are looking to reduce their college debt, upskill for a new career, or simply earn transferable credits at their own pace, we provide a flexible and supportive pathway.

Our approach is centered on student success. We understand that traditional college timelines and costs don't work for everyone. That's why we offer a subscription-based model, allowing students to learn at their own pace without the pressure of rigid schedules. Our courses, primarily utilizing content from respected publishers like McGraw-Hill and delivered via a Moodle learning management system, include eTextbooks and tutoring services at no extra cost. We believe in providing high-quality educational experiences, which is why all our courses undergo an intensive quality review process by ACE CREDIT. We also work closely with higher education institutions and corporate partners to provide their students and employees with flexible education options. We're committed to expanding opportunities for learners from diverse backgrounds, helping them achieve their goals and save significantly on their overall degree costs. We're passionate about empowering students to take control of their educational journey and build a brighter future.
