Sparrow is the first high-tech, high-touch employee leave management solution. Our mission is to make it simple for companies to provide their employees with all kinds of leave (i.e. family, medical, etc.).
Currently, the leave management process is painful and inefficient for everyone. Company leaders struggle to keep up with regulations and processes that change frequently, and the employees going on leave are overwhelmed by bureaucracy at an exceptionally important juncture in their career. Sparrow transforms this ordinarily tedious, error-prone, complex to remain compliant, and time-consuming process into a 30-minute end-to-end experience saving teams time (20 - 40 hours per leave) and money (up to $30K per leave).

About the role
In the Revenue Operations role at Sparrow, you’ll have the opportunity to solidify our vision, build processes, and own the entire lifecycle of revenue operations. We’re looking for a leader who is comfortable rolling up their sleeves, staying up to date on market trends and competitors. and working cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to increase productivity.
Here's what you'll do:
- Partner with Sales, Product, Account Management, Customer Experience, and Marketing on the design and execution of GTM while building a world-class revenue operations function.
- Manage the revenue operations for the entire life-cycle of our customer journey - including owning, reporting, and analytics for pre and post-sales to forecasting revenue accurately.
- Lead initiatives and activities to drive revenue growth and retention tied to OKRs and KPIs.
- Assist with pricing, quota setting, sales rules of engagement, deal desk, and commissions
- Leverage the best sales tech stack, including Salesforce, Salesloft, Gong, LinkedIn Navigator, Chili Piper, and more, to automate sales systems and provide support to drive efficiencies by improving processes for sales and renewals. This includes performance measurement programs, high-quality data and reporting tools, and evaluation of new technologies.
About you
- A top performer. 8+ years of revenue operations, data analytics, and/or finance/business operations supporting GTM orgs, particularly in SaaS markets selling B2B, with a track record of consistently exceeding quarterly and annual revenue targets by enabling the sales and renewal teams. Must be able to work cross-functionally while supporting the needs of many stakeholders.
- A builder’s mindset. For this role, we prefer 5+ years of leadership experience, but in the near-term, this person will be building the infrastructure for the team as an IC leveraging outsourced resources.
- Learner’s mindset. Highly self-directed, adaptable, and up for feedback and implementation in a fast-paced, always changing environment that has high-performance expectations while working collaboratively. You have a desire to build a world-class sales training playbook and program while seeing success in others.
- Product-obsessed. Leave management is complicated, meaning that often, our customers have gaps in their understanding. Therefore, it is essential that you can build effective written and visual teaching materials that simplify complex problems.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Clear, empathetic communicator that can build rapport and relate to sales professionals. You are great at communicating through email, chat, and phone while displaying active listening skills to ensure things are done well, both personally and as a team.
Compensation
- This is a full-time, exempt position. Compensation ranges from $165,000-$275,000k OTE based on experience with an 80/20 base/variable split.
