UX / UI Designer

Our eCommerce platform is designed to be user-friendly, efficient, and visually appealing. We are seeking a talented UX / UI Designer to join our team and help us continue to innovate and improve our platform.

Job Summary: As a UX / UI Designer, you will be responsible for enhancing the user experience of our eCommerce platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and marketers, to design intuitive and engaging user interfaces that drive customer satisfaction and business results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Product Manager and Developers to understand user needs, business objectives, and technical constraints.
• Conduct user research, including user interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to gather insights and identify areas for improvement.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to communicate design concepts and solutions.
• Develop and maintain user personas, journey maps, and other UX documentation to ensure a user-centred design approach.
• Design and iterate on user interfaces that are visually appealing, easy to navigate, and aligned with brand guidelines.
• Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to refine and improve designs.
• Work closely with developers to ensure the implementation of designs meets the intended user experience.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in UX design and eCommerce.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, UX Design or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in UX design, preferably with a focus on eCommerce platforms.
• Proficiency in design in Figma
• Experience with Design Systems
• Strong understanding of user-centred design principles and best practices.
• Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
• Excellent communication (in English) and collaboration skills.
• Ability to create detailed wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
