Developer QA Automation

Due to exciting growth plans, we are currently recruiting for a QA Automation Dev to join the Ecosystems Tribe. In this role you will be responsible for supporting all automated testing activities within the Software Development Life Cycle in the Marketing Automation team. Working closely with the QA Engineer, you will focus on supporting the Dev team during the development phase, to develop and execute automated tests to ensure product quality.

Requirements

Key responsibilities:

• Create and define Acceptance Criteria for User Stories
• Develop and run automated test cases, document test results and raise defects – driving responsibility for end-to-end tracking of all issues found
• Participate in Sprint meetings
• Test new technologies and system functionality to ensure business acceptance, user acceptance and correct system integration
• Development of automated test cases using amongst others Java, Cypress, Cucumber
• Participate in Backlog Refinement sessions with the Product Owner and Developers to ensure a common roadmap, including User Stories and Acceptance Criteria
• Work closely with the Product Team to ensure timely delivery of product features

The preferred candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience.

• Demonstrated 3-5 years in a similar role would be preferred
• Demonstrated experience in agile test methodologies
• Demonstrated experience in test management, agile methodologies such as TDD, Scrum, XP
• Demonstrated experience with test tools/frameworks like Junit, NUnit, TestNG, Selenium
• Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing test automation frameworks in Java, Cypress, and Cucumber
• Demonstrated experience with Web services testing with any automation tool, JSON, SML, REST, Postman and SOAP
• Demonstrated experience in end to end testing and functional testing
• Experience with Marketing Automation software such as HubSpot or ActiveCampaign
• Good working knowledge of AWS cloud services
• A passion for new technology and acquiring new skills
