ABOUT YOU AND OUR TEAM 

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Expert in Business Development specializing in Treasury and Intraday Liquidity within the financial services industry. This role demands a deep understanding of treasury operations, liquidity management, and a proven track record of driving business growth through innovative strategies and solutions.

The successful candidate will work closely alongside the product team and presales team, shaping the go-to-market strategy of our SAP Fioneer solution. They will engage with prospect clients, understanding their needs, and aligning our offerings to deliver maximum value. Effective collaboration with internal stakeholders and proactive involvement in shaping the product roadmap are essential components of this role.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

  • Strategic Business Development: Develop and execute business development strategies focused on intraday liquidity management solutions. Identify new business opportunities and establish strategic partnerships to expand the client base.
  • Client Relationship Management: Leverage your existing relationships and develop new strong relationships with prospective clients, understanding their unique needs and challenges. Serve as a trusted advisor, offering tailored solutions to optimize liquidity management.
  • Product Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance existing products and develop new offerings tailored to the evolving needs of clients in the treasury and liquidity space. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for differentiation.
  • Thought Leadership: Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies impacting treasury and liquidity management. Leverage expertise to provide thought leadership through whitepapers, webinars, and industry conferences.
  • Sales and Revenue Generation: Drive sales efforts to achieve revenue targets, leveraging strong negotiation skills and a deep understanding of client requirements. Develop pricing strategies that maximize profitability while remaining competitive in the market.
  • Support Presales: Provide expertise and support to the sales team during presales activities, including product demonstrations, proposal development, and client presentations. Collaborate with sales representatives to understand client requirements and tailor solutions to meet their specific needs. Offer insights into competitive positioning and value propositions to enhance the success of sales efforts.

Requirements

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Financial Services
  • 5+ years of experience in Liquidity Solutions and their implementation at Banks
  • Proven track record of delivering revenue growth and expanding market presence through strategic business development initiatives.
  • In-depth knowledge of treasury operations, intraday liquidity management, payment flow control, and financial products such as cash management, asset management.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field;
  • SME in real-time liquidity management and payment flow control
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and market trends.
  • Current or recent membership in relevant industry associations
  • Proficient in English;
  • Must have legal authorization to work in the US, the company does not sponsor work visas.
  • Willingness to travel: 50%
