We are Apple Inc., an American multinational technology company headquartered in Cupertino, California. We design, manufacture, and market a wide range of consumer electronics, software, and online services. Our journey began in 1976 when Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak, and Ronald Wayne founded Apple Computer Company to develop and sell Wozniak's Apple I personal computer. The company was incorporated as Apple Computer, Inc. in January 1977. Over the years, we've strived to set new benchmarks in product innovation, user-centric functionality, aesthetics, and design. The Apple II, introduced in 1977, became one of the first mass-produced microcomputers and a significant commercial success.

In 1984, we introduced the Macintosh, which was among the first computers to feature a graphical user interface and a mouse. Despite periods of internal challenges and leadership changes, including Steve Jobs' departure and eventual return in 1997, we've consistently aimed to redefine and transform the capabilities of modern computing. The late 1990s and 2000s marked a renaissance for us with the introduction of iconic products like the iMac, iPod, iPhone, and iPad, alongside the iTunes Store and App Store. These innovations propelled us to become a leader in the consumer electronics and media sales industries. In 2007, we officially changed our name from Apple Computer, Inc. to Apple Inc. to reflect our expanded focus beyond computers. Today, our product lines include the iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, and Apple TV, and we offer a suite of software and services such as iOS, macOS, iCloud, Apple Music, and Apple TV+. We are proud to be recognized as one of the largest technology companies globally by revenue and market capitalization.
