As part of a recently public company, you’ll have the autonomy and support to make an impact as we build for the long term.

About the role:

Samsara is looking for a talented and driven Senior Program Manager to join our Sales Programs PMO–a team that drives strategic transformation across the global Sales organization by optimizing operations, enhancing go-to-market execution, and building scalable programs. As a Senior Program Manager, you will own the design and execution of complex, cross-functional programs that align to Samsara’s strategic goals, working closely with VP+ stakeholders across Sales, Revenue Operations, and other Go-To-Market organizations.

This role requires a deep understanding of advanced program management skills, how to tactfully drive execution in a complex sales organization, and the ability to lead change across many functions and stakeholders. You’ll be expected to influence executive leadership, lead through ambiguity, and deliver measurable business outcomes that scale with Samsara’s rapid growth.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in program management, proven experience in a sales-driven organization, and a passion for working cross-functionally to deliver impactful results.

This role is open to candidates residing in the US except Alaska, Austin Metro, Boulder Metro, California, Chicago Metro, Connecticut, Dallas Metro, Denver Metro, Houston Metro, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, Seattle Metro, and Washington, D.C.

You should apply if:

  • You embrace complexity: You thrive on solving ambiguous, complex challenges and developing scalable solutions that drive measurable impact.
  • You empower teams: You are passionate about enabling high-performance teams and accelerating strategic priorities through structured program delivery.
  • You influence at the top: You enjoy influencing executive stakeholders and aligning diverse teams to shared objectives.
  • You drive continuous improvement: You are an advocate of continuous improvement, data-driven decision-making, and agile program iteration.
  • You lead with credibility: You are a natural leader, building credibility across cross-functional teams and inspiring trust in high-stakes environments.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead Strategic Programs: Independently manage multiple high-priority programs that span across Samsara’s Sales organization and Go-To-Market systems. Define clear program charters, align executive sponsors, and oversee execution across interdependent workstreams.
  • Drive Executive Collaboration: Partner with VP+ leaders to ensure program alignment with business strategy. Surface risks and recommendations proactively to influence decision-making at the highest levels.
  • Establish Program Governance: Define reporting cadences, metrics/KPIs, and program forums. Ensure consistent program visibility, alignment, and accountability.
  • Operationalize Business Impact: Identify opportunities for cost savings, revenue growth, or operational efficiency. Build business cases and measure outcomes with rigor.
  • Scale Change Management: Architect comprehensive change plans across stakeholder groups. Deliver cross-functional enablement, training, and communications to ensure adoption.
  • Foster a Culture of Excellence: Champion Samsara’s cultural principles and mentor junior PMs, contributing to the maturity of the PMO and a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices

Minimum requirements for the role:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year institution; MBA a strong plus.
  • 10+ years of experience in a program management or business operations role supporting sales organizations within a high-growth B2B SaaS or hardware environment.
  • Proven track record of owning large-scale, cross-functional programs that deliver strategic outcomes and ROI.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with executive stakeholders, lead complex initiatives, and navigate organizational complexity.
  • Strong program management expertise including program design, governance, change management, risk mitigation, and cross-team execution.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders effectively.
  • Comfortable working in a remote environment and able to collaborate effectively across time zones.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and executive communication skills; able to distill complex issues and influence across levels.
  • Analytical mindset with strong business acumen and ability to derive insights from data to drive strategic decisions.

An ideal candidate also has:

  • PMP certification, Agile/Scrum Certification.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, NetSuite, Gong and/or other sales systems.
  • Experience using AI-powered tools to accelerate program design, automate execution tasks, or surface strategic insights.
