Job Description

Position Summary:

We are looking for an experienced FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER to join our dynamic team. You will Provide customer support through the performance of on-site installation, and overseeing any necessary diagnoses, troubleshooting, service, and repair of complex equipment and systems.

You will report to the Territory Service Manager, Anden Region.

Location: San Juan – Puerto Rico

Your Responsibilities:

  • Configuration, commissioning, maintenance, diagnostics, and troubleshooting of Rockwell Automation software and hardware products.
  • Provide technical support to customers during planned or emergency engineering services.
  • Resolve technical issues related to Rockwell Automation products.
  • Check out and approve operational quality of system equipment.
  • Instruct customers in the operation and maintenance of the system.
  • Be a company liaison with customer on administrative and technical matters for assigned projects.
  • Learn in Rockwell Automation products and technologies.
  • Prepare technical reports on what has been done during the services
  • Complete administrative tasks such as expense and time reports (Weekly)
  • Participate in the training processes provided by our organization.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
  • 5 years' engineering and/or field/ services experience.
  • Technical knowledge of Control / Network / Power (Ideal).
  • PLC Programming Experience with Rockwell Automation Products.
  • Experience in the industrial automation field.
  • Customer service experience.
  • High English level.
  • We require flexibility to travel up to 70% of the time, which can include both domestic and international trips.

Knowledge in Other Rockwell Automation product families:

  • Rslogix 5, 500, 5000.
  • Studio 5000 (CompactLogix, ControlLogix)
  • Factory Talk View Studio (ME,SE).
  • Factory Talk Historian, FactoryTalk AssetCentre, PlantPAx.
  • Factory Talk Batch
  • Experience with Servo/Motion control, Low Voltage Power Flex, and Medium Voltage Drives.
  • Ethernet/IP, Stratix Switches
  • Multiple networks including (ControlNet, Ethernet, DeviceNet, Modbus or DH+).
  • Servo /Motion Control
  • Low Voltage Power Flex drives, products and applications.
