The People Support Solutions (PSS) organization brings its purpose to life by providing our colleagues worldwide with integrated HR solutions tailored to their needs. The Opportunity

As Senior Project Manager & Agile Coach you are part of the PSS organization and Customer Experience Area of Practice and responsible for People & Culture (HR) projects globally or regionally. You take projects from original concept through completion, create and maintain detailed work plans, resource plans and budget. You have the end to end responsibility for project execution using the most suitable methodology, you track project tasks, identify and handle risks and issues, maintain all collaborator relationships, ensure adherence to quality standards and review project deliverables to ensure compliance with current business strategies, relevant standards and legal constraints.

You lead the project team of local and remote team members to successfully deliver business value, provide methodological guidance to the project team, provide coaching/mentoring.

  • Delivering the end to end project meeting agreed quality and encouraged business benefits as defined in project baseline andselectingthe most suitable methodology which could vary from traditional waterfall to agile practices i.e. scrum, SAFE, design thinking, etc.

  • Setting upa robust project governance structure, defining project scope and key objectives in collaboration with project sponsor, steering committee or Product Owner and identifying all relevant project collaborators, proactively managing relationships and ensuring customer view is reflected in the execution of the project

  • Preparing and implementing effective communication, change management and training plans for all levels of stakeholders including senior management andcreating baseline project schedules and tracking the completion of project deliverables, tasks, activities and milestones

  • Actively and effectively handling project spending, resources, risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies (RAID) by carefully assessing potential impacts in collaboration with project teams and dependencies and proposing appropriate mitigation actions and risk acceptance.

  • As an Agile Coach coaching/mentoring project teams or teams in the organization through their agile journey to establish and strengthen the agile mindset and put agile methodologies in practice and leading project team by example in line with Roche Leadership commitments, People Practices and policies

  • Coaching and providing training to the project team on tools, techniques, and systems used to control and complete projects

Who you are

  • We are seeking an individual with Master’s Degree in focus business area such as Human Resources and 5-7 years of experience managing projects/programs with a high degree of complexity and scope as well as large budget and business impact

  • 2-3 years experience in agile/team coaching and guiding project teams as well as teams within the organization to increase performance, and experience in agile transformation preferred

  • Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken) is essential. Additional languages are a plus, based on region/customer requirements.

  • Knowledge of project management practices including waterfall and agile i.e. scrum, SAFE, design thinking, lean, etc.

  • Strong cross-cultural communications, influence, leadership, conflict/problem management and negotiation skills
