IT Operations Specialist

RecargaPay is changing the way both banked and unbanked Brazilians make their everyday payments and access their financial services.

We are looking for a qualified IT Operations Specialist to coordinate and provide technical support to RecargaPay employees with regard to their work tools and platforms (ticket system, environment configuration, Google Workspace support, asset management, password management, installment and update of applications).

Evaluate and solve RecargaPay’s computers (Windows and Apple) and technologic equipment, regarding this being originated on hardware or software.

Manage the IT (hardware and software) inventory in Brazil, Argentina and countries where RecargaPay staff members are present.

To participate in the projects, PoCs, and deployments of new tools that may appear in coordination with Cybersecurity and Infrastructure areas.

Your main responsibility will be to work with the IT Operations team and contribute as necessary to ensure the agility and efficiency of the service, keeping the networks and computer systems updated to optimize the role of technology in a sustainable environment, in a cross-country manner where RecargaPay staff members are present, with main focus on Brazil and Argentina.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and maintain the Inventory of the IT department and place orders for new equipment
• Coordinate the IT Operations team in order to achieve the best possible results in what time management and efficiency refers
• Generate and monitoring helpdesk KPIs
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors to establish compliant flows with certifications (PCI, DSS, CIS, NIST, BACEN, etc)
• Ensuring full cooperation and effective communication with various departments
• Set up computers and necessary peripheral devices.
• Install and configure appropriate software and functions according to specifications
• Collaborate to ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems
• Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate software and computer equipment
• Plan and schedule upgrades and maintenance without deterring others from completing their work
• Perform troubleshooting on employee computer systems, which may vary from level 1-3, including analysis and issuing repairs of HW/SW
• Perform administration and creation of new employee accounts on Google Suite platform
• Handling of all customer-related activities initiated by IT Operations across the group

Requirements

• Proven experience as IT Technician or relevant position
• Excellent diagnostic and problem solving skills
• Excellent communication ability
• Very good organizational and multi-tasking abilities
• Good knowledge of information security best practices and regulations (LGPD, etc)
• Graduated in Computer Science, engineering or relevant field
• Fluent in English or Spanish
• Strong background in Windows and MacOS environments
• Strong background in MDM Tools (jamf, Kandji, Quest Kace SMA, etc)
• Strong background in Atlassian Products (Jira Software and Jira Service Management)
