The Opportunity

As the vice president of marketing, you are the executive designated to drive revenue growth and trusted to shape the perception of our company, products, and services.

As the head of the marketing department, you play a pivotal role in driving Quimbee's continued expansion in the legal industry. You'll own the full spectrum of our marketing, including strategy, developing innovative campaigns, and overseeing a team to boost brand awareness, increase customer acquisition, and foster lifelong relationships with our users. Key Responsibilities

Results-driven ownership: Design and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with Quimbee's overall business objectives and drives measurable market growth.

Branding & messaging: Evolve and strengthen Quimbee's brand, creating a compelling narrative that resonates and builds our reputation with our target audience across legal education and the professional sector. Ensure messaging aligns with the brand and engages our target market.

Funnel + conversion management: Develop and oversee high-impact, multi-channel campaigns that nurture funnel conversions across student and professional markets: attract new customers, entice new trial starts, and convert to subscriptions.

Content & product improvements: Partner with cross-functional teams such as (product) to identify new product features and content opportunities to enhance our visibility, user engagement, and conversion.

Data-driven approach: Leverage data and analytics to optimize marketing campaigns, track performance, and identify areas for improving conversions and driving revenue.

Team management: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of marketing professionals, fostering collaboration and a culture of excellence.

Agency partnership: Select and manage marketing consultants and agencies.

Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (such as product + content) and the executive team (CEO, COO) to ensure a unified approach to marketing and company goals.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • 8+ years of marketing leadership experience.
  • Experience leading a marketing team.
  • Track record of owning the full campaign lifecycle and being responsible for its success: From concept, strategy, execution, and optimization, through to measurement and evaluation.
  • Strong analytical skills and an aptitude for data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships.
  • Hands on experience with marketing technology tools, including marketing automation and CRM systems (Hubspot).
  • Bachelor's degree in a marketing or related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience, preferably in the education, SaaS, and or performance marketing-driven sectors (such as considered purchase E-commerce).
  • 5+ years of experience leading and motivating a high-performing marketing team.
  • MBA preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in creating and optimizing omnichannel strategic marketing plans that drive full-funnel conversion and tangible results.
  • Passion for marketing innovation and an ability to think to create performance-driven campaigns that deliver ROI.
  • A deep understanding of digital marketing, branding, content marketing, PPC, SEO, programmatic advertising, CRM/Email marketing, and social media management.

Benefits

  • Salary. The salary range for this role is $190,000-$250,000, commensurate with experience.
