What’s the role?

Our new Account Executive is someone who is passionate and driven to succeed. You are a motivated and ambitious individual who is early in your sales career, with 1-3 years of experience in B2B SaaS sales or Accounts Management, and you’re eager to take your career to the next level.

You’ll look after a growing SMB book of business, working closely with customers from a range of verticals including healthcare, retail and hospitality. You’ll understand how to navigate customer sales cycles and will be super-organized and self motivated to hit your targets. You will mainly be working with our best in class wifi analytics solution.

How will you be measured?

You will have overall responsibility for Net Revenue Retention (N.R.R). growth for your customers and partners, managing customer health, renewals, and expansion. This includes monitoring and measuring Gross Revenue Retention (G.R.R). and N.R.R. to ensure there is positive growth across the customer base. Customer activity and Salesforce discipline are paramount to success in this role. If some of these things are new to you, that’s okay, we have all the tools in our onboarding you will need to hit the ground running.

Requirements

Role Competencies

You’ll bring with you the skills, experience and knowledge to:

  • Gain a full understanding of the Purple product offering and become the trusted advisor for the customers in your book of business
  • Manage, execute and measure agreed customer plans in collaboration with the VP Global Accounts
  • Ensure risk and opportunities are identified, tracked and then resolved/leveraged
  • Prepare thoroughly for successful customer meetings
  • Navigate the sales process from end to end based on agreed KPIs
  • Negotiate deals to close through leveraging tools and data
  • Regularly meet with your customer and prepare engaging content to deliver
  • Attend onsite meetings when appropriate for key strategic accounts
  • Manage a diverse and progressive pipeline to achieve agreed quota
  • Ensure SalesForce is always updated and accurate for all assigned accounts and opps
  • Use data (dashboards and reports) to proactively progress opportunities
  • Forecast accurately by month, renewal and expansion (ensuring coverage when needed)
  • Collaborate with team and across department both locally and globally
  • Experience in Salesforce a plus
  • Experience in Saas environment a plus
