The Program Manager, Communications is responsible for developing and executing high-impact communications for both internal and external audiences across Promethean’s global organization. This role leads strategic partner communications and supports cross-functional initiatives spanning brand, product, sales, and channel marketing teams. As a central function within the marketing organization, the manager ensures consistent messaging that aligns with brand standards while adapting to regional and channel-specific needs. They work closely with the Sr. Director, Global Marketing & Communications to align global strategy, gather cross-functional requirements, and implement a comprehensive communications calendar. The manager also partners with Translation Services to ensure effective localization and collaborates with channel marketing to capture and create compelling partner and customer stories. Success in this role requires strong writing skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Partner closely with the Sr. Director, Global Marketing & Communications to align on the global communications strategy and ensure accurate, effective, and timely messaging across all audiences.
  • Develop and implement a global communications calendar by gathering cross-functional requirements from brand, product, sales, channel sales, and channel marketing teams.
  • Lead and support external communications efforts, including strategic partner communications, product launches, central campaigns, and sales enablement initiatives.
  • Own internal communications planning and execution to drive alignment, visibility, and engagement across global teams.
  • Collaborate with the Translation Services team to ensure communications are localized appropriately for regional audiences, maintaining cultural relevance and brand consistency.
  • Work with channel marketing to identify, capture, and create compelling partner and customer stories that showcase impact and innovation.
  • Ensure consistent messaging across all regions while allowing for localization and market-specific adaptations.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure timely communications for product launches, promotions, and demand generation campaign efforts.
  • Collaborate with channel marketing to plan and support the execution of channel communications, including Partner Connect Live webinars, newsletters, and program updates, ensuring messaging is timely, relevant, and aligned with global strategy.
  • Partner with regional channel marketing teams to support localized communications and ensure alignment with global strategy.
  • Support sales enablement through clear, timely messaging around training tracks, onboarding programs, and new tools or resources.
  • Ensure field teams have access to the latest messaging, content, and tools to drive performance.

Job Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5-7+ years of experience in global communications, marketing communications, channel communication, or corporate communications within a matrixed, international organization.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute communications strategies that support internal alignment and external engagement, including partner and customer audiences.
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the ability to tailor messaging for diverse audiences, channels, and regions.
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with product marketing, sales enablement, brand, and channel marketing teams to gather requirements and align messaging.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate campaign timelines, product launches, and promotional activities clearly and effectively across global teams.
  • Familiarity with translation and localization workflows, with experience partnering with translation services to ensure accurate and culturally relevant communications.
  • Proficiency with content creation and automation tools (e.g., Copy.ai or similar) to scale messaging across global markets.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple communications initiatives simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and align across teams.
Base Range: £50,900 - £63,600 + Bonus Eligible
