This is a key role that executes the company’s cash control and payment policies. As a member of the Accounting Team, you will also contribute to and participate in the journal entry booking and month-end closing process. We are looking for an accounting professional with proven reliability, who is detail-oriented, fast learning, and problem-solving.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Receive, process, and track the Corporate’s invoices and answer related inquiries.
  • Set up vendor records and payment instructions in the company’s payment system, accounting system, and bank wire templates.
  • Run weekly payment process, manage payment priorities (tracking, allocation & aging), resolve any related issues.
  • Respond to and process the company’s Mexico subsidiary’s invoices and payments.
  • Download bank transaction records, reconcile them with payment records, and book the corresponding journal entries.
  • Assist other bank payments and cash reconciliation tasks.
  • May assist other payment coding/ matching/ allocation process.
  • Assist Accounting’s Month End Close process and Annual Audit requests.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of general accounting and payment management experience with a dynamic and fast-growing business.
  • Proven records of accuracy, diligence, and responsiveness in payment management.
  • Familiar with the journal entry process and bank reconciliations.
  • Experience with payment/expense management systems and accounting/ERP systems.
  • Self-starter, adaptive, proactive, and fast learning.
  • Excellent communication and organization skills.
  • A degree in Accounting, Business or similar fields.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish desirable
