Job Title: Accounts Payable Senior Accountant

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accounts Payable Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the accounts payable function, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in processing invoices, maintaining vendor relationships and contributing to the overall efficiency of the accounts payable department.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage the accounts payable process from receipt of invoices to payment, ensuring accuracy, completeness and compliance with company policies and procedures.
2. Review and reconcile vendor statements, resolve discrepancies and communicate effectively with vendors to address any issues or concerns.
3. Collaborate with Finance and General Accounting team in Accrual and Expense review process.
4. Process employee and consultants expense reports and ensure timely reimbursement in accordance with company policies.
5. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including general accounting, FP & A and finance teams, to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and implement best practices.
6. Assist with month-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations related to accounts payable.
7. Prepare ad hoc financial reports and analyses as requested by management.
8. Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and industry best practices related to accounts payable and ensure compliance with relevant standards.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2. English proficiency: Intermediate to Advanced
3. Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable or related accounting roles.
4. Proven experience with accounts payable processes, including invoice processing, vendor management, and reconciliations.
5. Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, including GAAP.
6. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
7. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
8. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
9. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
