Founded by transportation PhDs from MIT and UC Berkeley, our team combines over 30 years of experience building advanced travel simulations for cities, building public-private partnerships, and transportation enterprise SaaS sales. Our data platform serves as an essential bridge for cities and private mobility operators to work seamlessly together for a better transportation future.

Work smarter, not harder, right? When you work for Populus we trust you to do what needs to be done. While we generally expect you to work and be available during normal business hours, we also recognize that life happens sometimes and schedules may need to be adjusted.

Healthcare benefits

We contribute up to 90% of the premiums for our core health and wellness benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage. Employees have the option to contribute to an HSA too. Our excellent plans were selected based on employee feedback regarding the level and quality of coverage desired.

Paid parental leave

Just because the United States is woefully behind in terms of paid parental leave doesn’t mean we have to be. We offer six weeks of leave for new parents paid at 100% of the employee’s regular salary. If you’re a new parent, we want you to take some time off without worrying about money, so you can focus on your new little love.
