Location: Hybird or remote in UK with Monthly travel to central London Office

A Day In The Life…

We are looking for a passionate and hands-on Senior digital designer with a proven UX background and exceptional graphic design abilities to join our small but highly ambitious design team on a 12 month contract. Reporting to the Head of Design, you will take ownership of the CRM and socials design responsibilities, producing a variety of performance-driven email designs and graphics. This includes new product launches, seasonal promos, and automated flows focused on converting and retaining both existing and potential customers.

Alongside CRM and socials, you will use your proven UX/UI expertise to design new and optimise existing high performance e-commerce pages to positively impact key business metrics: Conversion, subscription uptake, AOV and retention. Working within Figma you’ll create engaging and functional email and web layouts utilising design systems and components in which you’ll bring to life by composing stunning, highly refined images to populate the templates. You'll have a strong understanding of best practice UX principles and always approach projects with a user-first mindset.

Your Day-to-Day Will Look a Little Like This…

• Email Design: Create visually compelling designs for customer acquisition and retention flows, as well as seasonal promotional campaigns, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience.
• Performance Driven UX/UI Design: Apply UX best principles to concept and design high-performance customer acquisition and retention pages. Continuously analyse performance and testing data, optimizing pages for maximum effectiveness in driving customer engagement and conversions.
• Performance Driven UX/UI Design: Produce high-quality visual assets for email marketing, social media, and website updates that align with the PetLab Co. Brand. Demonstrate versatility in design across various platforms and mediums, maintaining a cohesive visual identity.
• Brand Guardian: Uphold PetLab Co.'s brand integrity, acting as a brand ambassador to maintain quality, consistency, and exceptional standards across all platforms.
• Collaborative Ideation: Engage in collaborative sessions with the design team to ideate and align designs with business objectives, fostering innovation and cross-functional collaboration.
• Presentation and Iteration: Confidently present and refine designs based on feedback, aligning with brand guidelines and user expectations through an iterative design process.
• Knowledge Sharing: Collaborate with the design team to share insights and best practices, contributing to a dynamic and innovative design environment.
• Trend Awareness: Stay updated on current design trends to keep PetLab Co. ahead in the pet supplements industry.
• Personal Development: Take ownership of personal development, actively seeking growth opportunities and staying current on design tools and industry best practices.

Requirements

· Proven design experience within a Direct-to-Consumer, B2C, or ecommerce company.

· Exceptional portfolio demon starting both graphic and UX skillsets

· Proficiency in design tools; Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.

· Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.

· Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and meet tight deadlines.

· Creative and strategic thinker, able to ideate alternative solutions and strategies.
