About the Position:
Our client is actively seeking a Junior Intelligence Analyst to become an integral part of its Intelligence and Data Collection team. This role is crucial for expanding the breadth, depth and quality of the company's data collection capability.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the identification, acquisition, and processing of vital information. This will primarily involve extensive research and data gathering from the complex and often clandestine realms of the dark web, as well as leveraging publicly available open-source intelligence.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to intelligence and research requests from internal teams and clients
- Monitor new and emerging cyber threats and trends
- Identify and collect data from open sources and dark web platforms
- Analyze and interpret data to identify risks and patterns
- Produce clear intelligence reports and threat assessments
- Contribute to research content such as articles, breach analysis, webinars, and podcasts
- Share insights and findings with the team
- Work with internal teams to help improve intelligence tools and platforms
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in cybersecurity, intelligence analysis, or a related field
- Basic understanding of the cyber threat landscape
- Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working with data, databases, or APIs (nice to have)
- Team-oriented, adaptable, and eager to learn
