About the Client
Our client is based in Sydney, Australia is a global leader in online design services and operates two leading online design marketplaces and is looking to build some exciting new products in order to power our next phase of growth.
About the Role
• Develop and document thorough test plans for our products
• Execute test cases to validate our product across web and mobile platforms
• Analyze business requirements
• Work closely with the support team to validate issues and provide workarounds when possible
• Write test cases for both new and existing website features
• Perform functional testing of new features to ensure they meet business requirements and technical specifications
• Conduct regression testing of releases and hotfixes prior to code deployment to production
• Perform cross-browser, end-to-end, and sanity testing of websites
• Detect, raise, and track defects, ensuring they are addressed through re-testing and proper defect management
• Actively participate in daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, grooming sessions, and retrospectives
Requirements
What You Bring
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a QA
• At least 2 years of experience specifically testing public websites
• Excellent communication skills are a must, as you will collaborate with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure defects are accurately described and understood
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify discrepancies, find issues, and ensure they are resolved
• In-depth knowledge of functional, regression, end-to-end, system, cross-browser, and exploratory testing
• Ability to own and manage the defect lifecycle using tools like JIRA (defect triage, retesting, defect reporting)
• A passion for understanding business requirements and delivering high-quality products
