Position Overview

RecruitGo is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Manual Tester to join our growing team. You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, functionality, and usability of our web and mobile applications. This includes reviewing requirements, creating and executing test cases, identifying and documenting defects, and working closely with developers, product managers, and support teams to deliver exceptional software releases. This role is ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality user experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Review functional and business requirements to create clear, comprehensive test cases and scenarios.
  • Perform manual testing across web and mobile applications, including functional, UI/UX, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using our ticketing system, ensuring clear communication of reproduction steps.
  • Collaborate with developers and product managers to clarify requirements and verify fixes.
  • Validate bug fixes and perform regression testing before deployment.
  • Verify compatibility across browsers, devices, and operating systems.
  • Create and maintain test documentation, including test cases, scripts, and user acceptance test plans.
  • Work with the customer support team to reproduce and investigate reported issues.
  • Participate in release readiness and post-release verification activities.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in manual software testing, preferably in a SaaS environment.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC and testing methodologies.
  • Proven experience writing and executing detailed test cases and scenarios.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot inconsistencies or usability issues.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Technology Requirements

  • Dedicated quiet home workspace.
  • Stable internet connection (minimum 20 Mbps) with mobile data backup.
  • Desktop or laptop (9th gen or higher) with at least i5 processor, 8GB RAM, Windows 10+ or Mac OSX.
  • Noise-cancelling headset with extended microphone.
  • Uninterrupted power supply with at least 4 hours backup.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience testing SaaS products in healthcare or dental industries.
  • Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
  • Basic SQL knowledge for data verification.
  • Understanding of API testing concepts.
  • Exposure to automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Katalon).
