💪 Stretch The Rubber Band, But Don’t Break It: Contrary to popular belief, it is possible to push the envelope and create leverage at the same time. It's just harder.
💡 Be Intellectually Honest: Challenge assumptions with facts. Push others to pursue the truth, and be open to changing your mind as well. Pave practices intellectually honesty every day. Some examples are when the benchmarking team went into lockdown to fix the NPS, or the way customer success reviews red accounts on a weekly basis.
⏰ Focus On Impact: Solve the most important problems first. The time you spend on something should be proportional to the value it creates. Every day employees have to prioritize a million tasks. It's important that each person always allocates that time for maximum impact.
☀️ Be Transparent: Transparency is the lifeblood of Pave. It's in our products, our processes and most importantly the way we treat each other. Transparency is one of Pave's most important values. We have a weekly all hands meeting where Matt reviews his highs, lows and learnings for the week. Every function also reviews their north star metrics in a problems, progress, plans format.
