About the Role
On behalf of a well-established supplier in the office consumables sector, we are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager / Senior Sales Executive to drive high-volume B2B sales of A4 copy paper across the Australian market.
This role focuses on wholesale, corporate, reseller, and contract customers, and is ideal for a commercially driven sales professional with strong knowledge of Australian pricing structures, bulk sales, and long-term supply agreements.
Key Responsibilities
New Business & Account Growth
Drive new B2B sales of A4 copy paper (80gsm and related SKUs) across Australia
Develop and manage high-volume Australian corporate, reseller, and contract accounts
Engage with Australian procurement managers, office managers, and business owners
Pricing, Contracts & Retention
Negotiate pricing, margins, and long-term supply agreements
Manage repeat ordering cycles and ensure strong customer retention
Close and retain long-term Australian business accounts
Pipeline & Sales Management
Build, manage, and forecast a strong and qualified sales pipeline
Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts, and reporting
Consistently achieve and exceed revenue and volume targets
Operations & Collaboration
Coordinate with logistics and operations teams to ensure consistent local supply
Support smooth fulfilment and ongoing account servicing
Essential Requirements
Minimum 5 years B2B sales experience in Australia
Proven experience selling A4 copy paper or high-volume consumables in the AU market
Strong understanding of Australian pricing models, margins, and buying cycles
Demonstrated ability to close and retain long-term Australian business accounts
Confidence negotiating with Australian procurement teams and senior decision-makers
Excellent communication and relationship-management skills
Highly organised, self-motivated, and results-driven
Highly Desirable
Experience supplying Australian corporate, education, or government sectors
Existing Australian reseller or wholesale account network
Experience with tenders and contract pricing
CRM experience (HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, or similar)
