We founded Ophelos because we saw that traditional debt collection practices were often outdated and didn't provide the support people in financial difficulty truly needed. Many businesses rely on old methods that are inefficient and lack the tools to help vulnerable customers. At the same time, individuals often feel a lack of control due to inflexible repayment options and antiquated communication. That's why we developed an AI-native debt resolution platform. We combine machine learning technology and behavioural science with a caring, human approach to simplify, digitise, and automate the debt resolution process. This allows customers to self-serve and resolve their debt in their own time, on their own terms. We're always an open book; transparency is key to our process, and we're honest with both our clients and their customers every step of the way. We understand that there's no one-size-fits-all solution, so we personalise our approach to each individual's unique situation. After being acquired by Intrum in October 2023, we've been able to accelerate our mission, expanding our services across Europe and leveraging Intrum's extensive resources and data to enhance our AI capabilities.
