About Novatae Risk Group
Learn more about Novatae Risk Group and their company culture.
The story of Novatae Risk Group is one of transformation and a bold vision to reimagine the wholesale insurance landscape. The name itself, derived from the Latin words 'Novae Terrae', translates to 'New World', symbolizing the company's mission to bring a fresh, energized perspective to an industry often viewed as traditional and antiquated. This journey began with a strategic consolidation by World Insurance Associates, who sought to unify their wholesale businesses under a single, dynamic brand.
Unveiled in late 2022, Novatae brought together seven existing wholesale firms—including Scottish American, Keating, and Empire Underwriters—into a powerhouse entity. By merging these distinct legacies, Novatae created a comprehensive platform offering specialty insurance products across property, casualty, workers' compensation, and cyber liability. Today, the company stands as a modern distributor, leveraging deep industry expertise and a commitment to service excellence to deliver innovative solutions to broker partners and their clients nationwide.
