The Role:
We’re hiring a QA & Documentation Specialist to bring rigor and clarity to our earliest stage software. You’ll design and run pragmatic quality assurance for proof‑of‑concept projects as well as nascent products, define quality milestones that de‑risk the path to production, and define and/or assist in building lightweight automation to streamline the process. In parallel, you’ll own our documentation ecosystem—turning prototypes, features, and internal processes (from development through operations) into detail-oriented, clear, and current documentation that assures quality delivery, reduces support load, and improves team alignment.
This hybrid role blends hands‑on testing, systems thinking, and technical writing to help us deliver complete solutions.
The role requires expertise in technical documentation with a strong understanding of software testing and quality assurance. The ideal candidate will ensure that our products are clearly documented, consistent, and rigorously tested to meet the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance
- Create test strategies for POCs and pre‑GA products, working with the development team to define the relevant methodologies, acceptance/exit criteria, and bug fix processes.
- Work independently to stress the software in imaginative ways, running performance and reliability checks to ensure customer requirements and concerns are expressly addressed.
- Collaborate with the broader team to create right‑sized automation tools.
- Identify opportunities to improve QA and development processes
Documentation
- Collaborate with the broader team to understand the software products and their technical details and prioritize documentation needs.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive product documentation, including user guides, technical manuals, release notes, training materials, and API references.
- Author and maintain internal operations process documentation, including on-boarding materials
- Ensure all documentation aligns with company branding and style guidelines.
Requirements:
- Excellent writing and communication skills in English (C2 or C1).
- Experience with documentation tools (e.g., Confluence, MS SharePoint and Visio, Draw.IO).
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with testing tools such as Postman, Selenium, Cypress, or Bruno.
- Basic knowledge of programming or scripting (Python, JavaScript, or similar).
- Familiarity with APIs, RESTful services, and version control (Git).
- Tenacious attention to detail and analytical methods.
- Strong technical writing/editing; ability to translate complex systems into clear docs.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
Great-to-Have:
- Experience documenting or testing network, telecom, or cloud-based and edge software products.
- Familiarity with automation frameworks and CI/CD tools (e.g, GitHub Actions).
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.
- Knowledge of UX writing and accessibility standards.
- Experience in writing automated integration tests.
