Support Solutions Engineer, Big Data (L5)

Netflix is seeking a Support Solutions Engineer to join their Engineering Support Organization, focused on empowering Data Platform Engineering. The role involves monitoring customer requests, troubleshooting, automating support needs, improving tools, and enhancing the engineering support experience. This is a remote position supporting the US/Canada and local Poland teams.

Requirements

5+ years of professional support or engineering experience
Experience supporting platforms built using open source technologies like Apache Kafka, Spark, and Hadoop
Experience providing technical support for Kafka clusters or other pub/sub systems
1+ year of experience with cloud infrastructure/container orchestration (e.g., Google Cloud Pub/Sub, RabbitMQ)
SQL query skills
Proficiency in Python or Java
