Security Engineer (L5), Security Protocols Engineering

Netflix is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to develop and support the security protocols enabling secure client interaction with Netflix's infrastructure. This role involves enhancing user identity and authentication, analyzing systems from a security perspective, and responding to incidents. The team collaborates with product and partner organizations to refine security practices and improve user experience.

Requirements

• Develop security architectures for large-scale distributed systems.
• Assess system architecture for vulnerabilities and design flaws.
• Develop and influence the implementation of security solutions.
• Train product teams on security best practices.
• Triaging and routing security requests to subject matter experts.
• Experience with AuthN/AuthZ frameworks (OAuth, OpenID Connect, SSO, MFA).
• Expertise in secure development lifecycle practices.
