Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Software Developer with expertise in Supply Chain Systems. The Candidate will have experience working in Agile environments, collaborating with business stakeholders to align technical direction with strategic business needs.

Technical Responsibilities:

  • Development, and optimization of ERP Supply Chain Systems Required: Oracle EBS.
  • System integration: API building o Ensuring best practices are followed in design, coding, testing, and deployment.
  • Stay current with the latest supply chain technologies and trends, driving innovation and continuous improvement within the team.

Team Collaboration:

  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and technical excellence.
  • Conduct code reviews, pair programming, and provide continuous feedback to ensure high code quality and adherence to technical standards.

Agile Development:

  • Participate in and facilitate Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Ensure that development tasks are properly scoped, prioritized, and delivered within sprints.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners and Scrum Masters to ensure user stories and acceptance criteria are clearly defined and aligned with business needs.

Supply Chain Systems Expertise:

  • Leverage knowledge of supply chain systems to design, develop, and implement software solutions that enhance supply chain efficiency and visibility.
  • Knowledge of system integration (APIs, SOA architecture, etc.).
  • Understand and apply best practices in demand planning, transportation management, warehouse management, and inventory optimization.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., logistics, operations, IT) to ensure alignment between business requirements and technical solutions.

Business Collaboration:

  • Partner with business stakeholders and other departments to gather requirements, understand system needs, and ensure the alignment of technical solutions with strategic business goals.
  • Translate complex business requirements into clear, actionable technical tasks for the development team.
  • Collaborate with other IT and business leaders to ensure supply chain systems are integrated with other enterprise platforms, such as ERP and CRM systems.

Project Management & Strategic Planning:

  • Develop projects to ensure alignment with business objectives and deadlines.
  • Identify potential risks or challenges in supply chain software development and propose solutions to mitigate them.
  • Continuously refine and improve the development process to increase efficiency, scalability, and the quality of the delivered products.

Integration & Automation:

  • Lead the integration of supply chain systems with other business-critical platforms such as ERPs, CRMs, and WMS systems to streamline operations.
  • Implement automation strategies that improve the overall performance of supply chain operations, reducing manual processes and optimizing workflows.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • BlueYonder (JDA),TMS(BluJay), Llamasoft, and other related TMS, WMS, or SCM platforms.
  • Proven technical Experience in Oracle EBS (preferably R12)
  • Experience with Oracle EBS customizations, enhancements and integration of Oracle EBS with external systems using inbound and outbound APIs such as 3rd party WMS systems, EDI, Planning and Scheduling tools, etc.
  • Familiarity with EDI/B2B integration technologies and processes.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working within Agile teams.
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor developers, guiding them towards technical excellence and career growth.
  • Experience working with business partners to define system requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of database management, system integration, and supply chain processes.
  • Experience managing multiple tasks, balancing priorities, and delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with EDI translation tools and mapping (IBM Gentran)
  • Experience with Order to Cash processes.
  • Strong technical skills in Oracle PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, XML Publisher, OBIEE, and OIC.
  • Experience with cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure) and microservices architecture.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.
  • Experience with advanced optimization algorithms for transportation, demand planning, or inventory management.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems integration and data flows between supply chain applications and other business systems.
  • Experience in JavaScript, React, Oracle Jet
