A lot of companies have stated values. At MongoDB, we live by them. Not just on some days. But every day.

  • Think Big, Go Far: We are ambitious. We are passionate about creativity. And we believe the best paths are the ones we have yet to forge.

  • Build Together: We know that inclusion and teamwork build the biggest things. And that’s we actively seek diverse perspectives, backgrounds, skills, and experiences. We discuss things thoroughly, but prioritize commitment over consensus.

  • Embrace the Power of Differences: A diverse workforce is the best way to broaden perspectives, foster innovation, and build a sustainable competitive advantage. That’s why we commit to creating a culture of belonging. A culture where people of different origins, backgrounds, and experiences feel valued and heard.

  • Make it Matter: We are strategic. We are clear on our goals. And we are obsessed with delivering on our commitments. This is what meaningful impact looks like. And this is what we’re committed to each and every day.

  • Own What You Do: We have courage in our convictions. But we actively work hard to ensure neither biases nor personal beliefs get in the way of finding the best solution to any challenge. It’s why we always default to operating with transparency.

  • Be Intellectually Honest: We demand excellence from ourselves. And we hold ourselves accountable for all we do. Because in a collaborative work environment, the only way to solve challenges is for everyone to take ownership of their contribution.
