- Develop and improve on technical products used to facilitate security and intelligence investigations.
- Code using primarily PHP, React, Python, Haskell, etc.
- Identify and implement practical solutions to challenging, real world problems.
- Partner with other engineering teams to provide a holistic solution to surfacing and responding to emerging threats.
- Manage multiple projects at once while effectively prioritizing time based on team priorities.
- Work closely with security investigators to identify process improvements and counter measures to stop or prevent abuse.

- Requires a Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field and 36 months of experience in the job offered or in a computer-related occupation.
- Requires 36 months of experience involving the following:
- 1. Software development
- 2. Developing and debugging in a variety of languages including but not limited to: PHP, Python, JavaScript, Haskell, or Java
- 3. Communicating and working successfully cross-functionally
- 4. Application deployment and maintenance
- 5. Database design
- 6. Database Query languages: SQL and NoSQL
- 7. Security analytics tooling, including investigative tooling, graphs, visualizations, and reports
- 8. Big data, including distributed systems, data ingestion, statistics and analytics, AND
- 9. Security Engineering in the areas of fraud analytics, time series analytics, data privacy, and behavior analytics.
Individual pay is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
