- Manage Meta’s cross-functional privacy review process for new products and features.
- Facilitate discussion and coordination among product managers and privacy stakeholders across the company (including members of the legal, public policy, product marketing, security, and communications teams).
- Work with product managers and other privacy stakeholders to develop and drive consensus around creative solutions to privacy-by-design challenges.
- Track and document new product proposals, status updates, and key decisions.
- Communicate privacy decisions to the broader cross-functional teams.
- Communicate two different types of audiences both internally and externally.
- Telecommute from anywhere in the U.S. permitted.
- Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Management, or a related field, followed by five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in job offered or project management, security/privacy, consulting, or computer-related occupation.
- Requires five years of experience in the following:
- 1. Supporting the design, build, and execution of industry leading privacy programs
- 2. Collaborating with Engineering and business owners to define program requirements, set priorities, and establish scope which includes defining the roadmap and long-term strategy of team
- 3. Managing cross-functional dependencies, risks, and changes effectively by optimizing scope, schedule, and resources accordingly
- 4. Developing and owning communication plans to effectively and proactively communicate program status, issues, and risks to stakeholders
- 5. Defining and tracking key metrics and key quality and performance indicators and driving cross-functional execution of program deliverables
- 6. Driving internal and external process improvements across multiple teams and functions including reducing the manual efforts through automation
- 7. Anticipating bottlenecks, providing escalation management, and ensuring user privacy is not compromised
- 8. Managing relationships both internal and external to the privacy organization
- 9. Consulting, business operations, technical program management, or other operational disciplines
- 10. Process design and process improvement in a complex cross-functional environment, AND
- 11. Privacy and data protection, operational risk management, compliance, audit and implementation of control frameworks, privacy by design, information security, adversarial spaces, or incident management.
Individual pay is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
