Role: NOC Engineer
Duration: 6 + months
Location: This role is fully remote right now, but might become Hybrid in May so Scottsdale is preferred
Job Summary:
Within a day to day the environment is MPLS, DWM and field area network when there is a connectivity with stake holders they create a ticket when something goes down.
The Tier 1 NOC resource sends out emails to stake holders when there is planned work and non planned work.
Maximo (WAM) is used within the system.
Most of the tickets are on the field level network.
The client stood up their own version network and pushing the connectivity further in the grid a lot of the incidents created are within that area.
the NOC is tier 1 coordinator communicating out to the dispatchers aka field tier 2 then NOC2 tier 2/tools team could get involved if needed then to tier 3 field engineers and then tier 4 the network engineering team.
To resolve incidents and incident management big initiative at SRP they are trying to spin up a operations technology center group coming from the grid.
The resources will be collecting that data and mission critical for the companies.
Review monitoring alerts received from infrastructure devices, creates incidents, assigns/engage support teams as needed
Collaborates with and supports live operations, engineering and field engineers.
They are the early support for all resolution needed
Communicating with stake holders.
Communication style needs to be calm, collected and effective.
Experience working with C level or stakeholder background would be ideal.
