This role is within our Residency Offering, which is a solution that provides strategic technical resources to our customers on a contractual basis.
Job Location: Remote (potential light travel – 1-3 times during engagement)
6-month contract (potential for extention)
Pay rate: ($75 - $90/hr)
Your Responsibilities Include:
- Provide systems engineering support to enterprise and commercial customers
- Partner with multiple organizations to understand pain points and conduct whiteboard network architectural reviews in addition to conducting Arista product networking solutions, Cloud Grade Routing and Cloud Vision (Network Automation) platform
- Architect, design, and propose Arista Data Center & Campus network solutions using spine-leaf architectures (VxLAN, EVPN) and network overlays
- Perform hands-on tests to validate customer proof-of-concept setups, Data Center and/or Campus network designs, and network deployments using new products and features
- Put together design guidelines and recommend improvements to customers for the networks they support.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Minimum of 7-years networking experience
- BS/CS/CE technical degree
- Recent Experience in Leaf-Spine architecture design
- Possess in-depth experience in routing and switching including the architecture, design and deployment of enterprise data center and/or campus-based networks.
- Experience with routing and switching including L2/L3 protocols
- Demonstrate previous work experience as Sr Network Architect / Designer. (Will also consider individuals who have worked for network/infrastructure vendors in a Technical Pre-Sales Solution capacity if they have had to design networks for clients).
- Understanding of Arista product solutions such as Cloud Grade Routing and Cloud Vision platform
