ManpowerGroup Greece, on behalf of our client a well-established organization in the electronic payments industry is looking for a Java Solution Architect – Core Design Expert to join their growing team.

What you will do:
As a Solution Architect, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality, scalable Java components. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape architecture, apply best coding practices, and ensure performance and reliability across the system. Our client leverages a cutting-edge technology stack, including Java 23, Spring Boot, AWS, and Microservices architecture, to build scalable and secure solutions in the fast-evolving electronic payments space
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Designing and architecting robust, scalable, and maintainable Java-based applications
- Defining system architecture, technical stack, and coding standards aligned with modern Core Design principles (e.g., SOLID, clean architecture, domain-driven design)
- Leading and mentoring development teams, providing guidance on architectural best practices
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Conducting code reviews and ensuring architectural integrity across projects
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or other relevant disciplines
- 7+ years of experience in Java development, including Spring/Spring Boot ecosystem
- Proven experience in software architecture and system design
- Strong knowledge of Core Design patterns and principles (OOP, SOLID, Clean Code, DDD)
- Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Experience with CI/CD tools, Git, and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and documentation skills
