We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Principal Business Analyst to join our team. As a Principal Business Analyst, you will evaluate business processes and develop detailed requirements in support of the enterprise data warehouse and Business Intelligence delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Define and document business requirements; work with Infrastructure and Data teams to implement solutions to address business needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs, define requirements, and develop innovative solutions.
- Performs IT functions such as design, analysis, evaluation, testing, debugging and implementation of Data/BI programs supporting the company infrastructure, business processes and operations and/or network-based (cloud) product systems
- Utilize data analytics and business intelligence tools to identify trends, opportunities, and potential areas for improvement.
- Develop master data migration roadmaps in partnership with business and technical leads with emphasis on critical data elements and data quality constraints
- Manage and execute projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Must be comfortable with working on multiple projects simultaneously and translate business data into digestible information that drives actionable delivery for the data team.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis on industry trends and best practices to inform business strategies.
- Ability to collaborate with global teams remotely in different time zones
- Mentor the data team in agile best practices and aid in facilitating stand ups and sprint planning.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology or related field.
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience as a Sr. Business Analyst or related role.
- A proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions that adhere to business needs
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau, Power BI)
- Functional knowledge of ERP, CRM, DMS and HRIS systems
- Experience with Confluence/JIRA/Smartsheet
