About the Role
We are hiring Senior Cloud Data Engineer on a contract basis for a high-impact, time-bound project with one of our enterprise clients. The initial contract term will be 6 -12 months, with potential for extension or full-time conversion depending on performance and business needs.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on modern data platforms, cloud migrations, and large-scale analytics pipelines using technologies like Azure, Databricks, Snowflake, Python, Teradata, DataStage, and more.
Key Responsibilities
- (Final role allocation will depend on your profile and client project requirements)
- Build, optimize, and maintain data pipelines in Azure, Snowflake, and Databricks.
- Migrate on-prem ETL jobs (e.g., Teradata, DataStage, Perl) to cloud-native solutions.
- Develop scalable ETL/ELT workflows using PySpark, ADF, SQL, or Terraform.
- Create APIs for data integrations and work with DevOps (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Implement best practices for data governance, RBAC, and compliance.
- Troubleshoot, monitor, and ensure reliability of large-scale data flows.

Engagement Details
- This is a contractual role for 6-12 months
- Selected candidates will be deployed to client projects with full alignment on deliverables and timelines.
- Contract-to-Hire (possibility of permanent role based on performance)
