HSO - GS - BI Technical Team Lead

HSO is looking for a Team Lead for Business Intelligence with following Technical and Managerial Skills

• Prior D365 Finance and Operations experience
• Familiarity with Data Management Framework workspace tools
• Export to Data Lake microservice
• Azure Synapse Link

· Comprehensive understanding of data warehouse and data modeling concepts as they relate to business intelligence applications.

· Familiarity with emerging Microsoft Azure and Power BI technologies, such as Microsoft Fabric, One Lake, Azure Data Lakes, ADF and Azure synapse

· T-SQL development experience

o Building views with complex joins

· Azure Portal and Azure Analysis Services tabular model configuration and troubleshooting

· Experience with Power BI report development, DAX measure creation, and report building.

· Understanding of FACT and dimension table concepts and Relationships

· Tabular data model development experience in Visual Studio

• Relationship setup
• DAX Skills (Particularly important to understand how to use variables in DAX along with CALCULATE, FILTER, etc. in addition to understanding math order of operations)
• Security implementation

· Experience supporting the design and development of business intelligence solutions.

· Assisting junior BI technical consultants with complex report support issues and modifying the ISV data model

· Author design documents for BI development and assist with testing new development.

· Excellent communication and organizational skills

Requirements

Required Skills:

• Strong Knowledge of programming languages like SQL.
• Strong knowledge on business intelligence tool Power BI
• Strong Knowledge on Azure Data Lake, building ADF pipelines and Azure Synapse.
• Working knowledge of Azure Analysis services
• Ability to visualize data in the most effective way possible for a given requirement.
• Experience of working in a demanding and results driven, time critical environment
