Heard is building the financial back office for therapist entrepreneurs. We are a team of helpers, accountants, engineers, and designers who are passionate about supporting therapists in managing their finances. Therapists often lack training in accounting, leaving them to rely on a patchwork of DIY tools, spreadsheets, and costly professional advice. Founded in 2019 by Andrew Riesen and Victoria Li, Heard serves to empower therapists, allowing them to focus on their core work of helping clients rather than getting bogged down by financial administration.

Our vision is a world in which every therapist has access to an all-in-one platform for managing their bookkeeping, taxes, and payroll seamlessly. We have created features that specifically cater to the needs of therapists, such as tailored tax optimization strategies and support systems. Our platform aims to make financial management so easy that therapists can spend their valuable time where it matters most – with their clients.
