THE OPPORTUNITY

We are hiring a Senior Frontend Software Engineer to join our B2B Acquisition squad within the MEP team in Brazil.

You'll be joining our Marketing Engineering & Platform (MEP) Focus Area - B2B Acquisition squad, which is in charge of the Wellhub SMB buy flow where clients can get in touch with our sales team or even contract Wellhub through our self-checkout features.

The Marketing Engineering & Platform team is part of the Engineering Product Development tribe inside Wellhub. We work on a daily basis with the Marketing team to ensure that their strategies are built and deployed in the highest quality standards.

YOUR IMPACT

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve applications focusing on performance, scalability, and resilience;
  • Work in a collaborative and agile environment that prioritizes people over process and is laser-focused on productivity;
  • Work with cutting-edge technologies on a global scale;
  • Be accountable for architectural decisions and improvement opportunities. Bring innovation to the table;
  • Play a key role planning and prioritizing the daily work and bigger initiatives;
  • Interact with Stakeholders to define the best approach to fulfilling any business requirements;
  • Support other team members sharing knowledge, driving pair-programming and mentoring sessions;
  • Ensure successful delivery of projects, and promote the long-term technical health of our services;
  • Build integrations with 3rd party API and tools;
  • Support data-driven discussions within your area and across business areas;
  • Engage prospects and identify clients to contact via phone, e-mail, and other creative channels.

WHO YOU ARE

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience;
  • Experience in designing and developing modern web applications;
  • Strong experience working with web technologies, such as Javascript, Typescript, NodeJS, GraphQL, React, NextJS, Styled Components, AWS, Github Actions, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Segment as our Customer Data Platform, and Amplitude (tracking). Or similar / equivalent technologies.
  • Willing to work within an agile environment meant to be continuously challenged and improved upon;
  • Understand the various testing methodologies such as unit, integration, and end-to-end tests;
  • A believer in automation (be it tests, CI/CD, or something else);
  • Experience with monitoring, observability, and KPIs tracking;
  • Accountable for your decisions and possess a high level of ownership over the products you are delivering. You take proactive actions to learn from mistakes;
    Value facts and data to make decisions;
  • Strong communication skills (both in English and Portuguese) to work with multidisciplinary teams located in several countries with different cultures.
