About the job

Goods Services is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer who has a solid background in Windows OS and PowerShell to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS (preferred), comfortable working closely with backend systems, and a passion for automating and streamlining development and operational processes.

What you’ll do:

• Develop, implement, and maintain automated solutions using PowerShell and/or any other programming languages including Go (preferred) to improve deployment, monitoring, and system management.
• Manage and support Windows-based systems and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to enhance CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment processes.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and reliability of infrastructure.
• Work with cloud platforms, especially AWS (preferred), to build and maintain scalable infrastructure solutions.
• Document processes, configurations, and best practices to ensure consistency and scalability.

What you’ll need:

• Solid experience with Windows OS and Linux administration and management.
• Expertise in writing and maintaining scripts using PowerShell for automation and system management.
• Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and version control systems.
• Adaptability and Willingness to Learn: Ability to take on new tasks and responsibilities, even those not previously performed, with a proactive attitude and a problem-solving mindset.
• Solid problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience in networking (VPC, Peering, Transit Gateways).

Nice to have:

• Understanding of security and system architecture in cloud environments.
