We need an English-fluent Software Architect, based in Latin America, available to work remotely.
We are looking for someone with exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, who embraces changes while maintaining strong attention to detail. An interested and proactive person, who's constantly learning and improving their skills.

Responsibilities:
- Design the architecture for the platform, including backend services, APIs, data pipelines, integrations with labs and wearable devices
- You’ll ensure systems are secure, scalable, and maintainable.
- Plan for the growth of the platform as company expands across Europe.
- Key areas include health data storage and processing, real-time data ingestion and AI integration pipelines.
- Define and promote best practices for code quality, security, testing and system reliability
- You’ll help build a technical culture that balances speed with robustness.
- Technical Leadership- Support the engineering team by reviewing architecture decisions, guiding complex implementations and mentoring engineers
- You won’t just design systems - You’ll help ensure they are actually built well.
Requirements:
- 5+ years experience in software engineering, including system architecture responsibilities.
- Experience with TypeScript /React.js and React Native is a must.
- Experience designing systems involving APIs, distributed services and data platforms
- Experience with health data or regulated environments is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure, scalable backend systems and data architecture.
- You enjoy solving complex technical problems and helping teams move faster.
Compensation:
- The Salary range offered for this position varies from (USD) $5,000 - $6,500 per month, depending on seniority and skillset.
- This position is for an independent contractor, through a payroll platform.
- The talent will work REMOTELY allocated at our client.
