The story of Abilitie is a journey of evolution and focus, born from a passion for innovative business education. Its roots trace back to 2001, when CEO Bjorn Billhardt co-founded Enspire Learning. For over a decade, Enspire Learning carved a niche in creating custom e-learning solutions, working with esteemed institutions and global corporations to develop the next generation of leaders. The team honed its expertise in designing impactful, simulation-based training that went beyond traditional classroom learning. A key element of their success was the development of dynamic business simulations that allowed learners to practice critical skills in a risk-free, competitive environment. These simulations became the heart of their leadership development programs, proving to be a powerful tool for cultivating business acumen and strategic thinking.

In 2015, a pivotal moment arrived. Recognizing the unique power and potential of their simulation-based approach, the decision was made to spin off this specialized unit from Enspire Learning. This strategic move gave birth to Abilitie, a company singularly focused on reimagining leadership development through experiential learning. From its headquarters in Austin, Texas, Abilitie embarked on a mission to provide rising leaders and executives around the world with hands-on programs that deliver real-world results. The company's signature offerings, like the intensive 12-Week MBA and various team-based simulations, have since been adopted by over 500 global clients, including giants like Coca-Cola, Marriott, and Southwest Airlines. With a rapidly growing community of over 100,000 learners across more than 50 countries, Abilitie continues its journey as an award-winning innovator in the edtech market, consistently recognized for its impactful programs and as one of America's fastest-growing private companies.
