What you'll be doing…
As Ecommerce & Tech Writer at Cycling Weekly, you'll be responsible for writing, and in some cases managing, buying advice. This includes comprehensive buying guides, product reviews, spotlight deals and regular updates to core pages. You'll ensure content is written accurately and that the content you produce follows internal SEO guidelines.
You'll be unearthing and exploring new opportunities for content initiatives based on seasonal patterns, new trends, keyword research and e-commerce opportunities, helping to manage Cycling Weekly’s equipment content plans, liaising with Cycling Weekly’s North American editor to ensure guides and advice suits this audience, and be a key brand contact during peak trading periods.
Experience that will put you ahead of the curve…
- A passion for cycling, and understanding of key brands.
- Ability to maximise content engagement with a knowledge of all the key content distribution channels.
- Knowledge of editorial SEO and analytics packages.
- Proven ability to produce high-quality, engaging, relevant digital content.
- Excellent digital writing skills.
- Excellent knowledge of e-commerce and content tracking tools, ability to analyse data, draw conclusions and execute a resulting plan.
- Can-do attitude, willing to pitch in on launches and tech news when required.
