The TechOps-DE-CloudOpsAMS-SAP ABAP-Manager role involves providing day-to-day Application Management support for SAP Applications across IT Service Management, leading and participating in the design, development, and implementation of complex ABAP programs and solutions, and collaborating with functional and technical teams to gather requirements and assess business needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in related technology field (Computer, Engineering, Science, etc.) or comparable job experiences.
- 7-11 years of experience in SAP ABAP module – experience with SAP S/4 HANA ABAP Development and SAP Fiori/UI5 Development.
- Focus on level 3 support and global operations.
- Understanding of SAP Functional modules and business processes with the ability to translate business requirements and issues into technical solutions.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner in a multi-region environment.
- Strong experience in delivering Application development or enhancement work, right from requirement gathering, creation of Specification document, Approval process, development or configuration, collaborating with other integrated modules, end to end Testing, UAT support, defect fix, approval process for production release, deployment, Postproduction support etc
- Deep understanding of ITIL and ITSM processes and methodology and how it interacts with the application lifecycle management principles
- Ability to manage cross functional and technical team, give them directions and drive functional and technical discussions with various stake holders
- Proven track record of successfully driving solutions in a complex, multi-platform environment
- Extensive in client management working with various regions in a global setting
- Depth of experience in setting up, growing, transforming, and delivering application management teams
- Strong leadership and team building skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve excellence
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels in the organization
- Strong client management, analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to think strategically and make data driven decisions
- Responsible for providing support within the SAP domain expert module for incidents, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
