What you’ll do at Elekta
Your role as a Business Manager in Brachytherapy involves the responsibility of fostering the growth and promotion of leads, orders, and sales for Elekta Brachytherapy products and services. It is crucial to align these efforts with the company's objectives, ensuring profitability while maintaining strong relationships with customers and other team members.
To ensure that all customers are provided with high quality care and attention throughout the sales process, so that each customer is fully satisfied with the support they receive from Elekta.
To secure orders for the installation of new systems and upgrades to the current user base.
To maintain customer accounts, opportunity, and contact information in our Elekta CLM system.
Provide internal support to our Regional Customer Managers in resolving Brachytherapy related issues, manage any challenges that arise, continuously strive to ensure that customers are satisfied with the services delivered by Elekta.
Provide input regarding regional product requirements for Elekta Brachytherapy developments.
Willingness and ability to work both strategically as well as operationally.
To complete the administration requirements of the role in accordance with the quality system in a timely and accurate manner including opportunities in CLM Salesforce and commercial quotes within Oracle/Big Machines.
To always follow Elekta’s quality and safety policies.
What you bring
As a Business Manager you demonstrate the ability to leverage your clinical and technical expertise, you will effectively communicate and advocate for the advantages of our Brachytherapy solutions. Additionally, you will provide support to both Elekta staff and customers throughout the order fulfilment process.
In addition to:
Demonstrate clear and unambiguous communication skills with both the customers and Elekta Staff.
Promote the company image by ensuring personal appearance and behavior is maintained at a professional level.
Be prepared to work as required at times and locations dictated by the needs of the customer and Elekta, this may include unsociable and weekend work as required.
To provide updates on ongoing prospects, hot issues and competitor information at the regular Sales Meetings.
To carry out, without supervision, core tasks within acceptable timescales prompting escalation of the problem if required and maintaining ownership of problem until customer is satisfied.
Ensure that customers are satisfied with the services delivered by Elekta. Manage any conflicts that arise continuously striving to improve customer satisfaction.
Support the Regional Customer Managers in resolving Brachytherapy related challenges.
Propose and produce business plans and support marketing plans with the direct management.
The right stuff
Bachelor’s degree (clinical or business oriented) or equivalent knowledge acquired through business experience.
Fluent Spanish and English speaking and based in Spain or Portugal (Required)
Proven knowledge and understanding of oncology and clinical workflows.
3+ years of Sales & negotiation experience within capital medical equipment and/or medical devices industry.
Customer relationship management experience, or similar interpersonal relationship management experience
Availability to travel +50% time.
Excellent presentation and communication skills to be able to communicate effectively to groups, individuals and at all levels of authority.
Familiarity/proficiency with IT including the following software: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM solutions (ideally Salesforce)
Ability to work autonomously.
Excellent team player at all levels and strong interpersonal skills as well as strong in building and maintaining customer focus and customer relationships.
Strong in building and maintaining customer focus and customer relationships.
Results oriented, operative with analytical skills.
