We're seeking a skilled individual to support, install, upgrade, and maintain the interconnectivity of complex medical systems in a hospital environment. As part of our dynamic team, you'll collaborate directly with customer IT specialists, ensuring seamless product deployment and safe clinical operation. Your expertise will be crucial in providing 4th line Service support, both remotely and on-site, to our Elekta Clinical Operations Applications Specialists, physicists, and internal service functions.

What you’ll do at Elekta

• Complete remote and on-site installations and “early adopter” upgrades in support of customer expectations. Successful completion includes effective communication internally and externally, and adherence to established procedures.

• Maintain and contribute to Software Installation Procedures (SIPs), associated Technical References (TRFs), and relevant documentation relating to the MR Linac product offering.

• Support MR Linac external and internal customers in Tier 1 to Tier 3.

• Translate IT requirements into business impact and promote this in the project teams.

• Support the development of the both the internal and external learning journeys within the Systems Specialist Function.

• Identify opportunities independently, provide consultative advice within specific functional areas and support initiatives to improve the processes and Way of Working.

• Support the Business Line management team to comprehend the Customer IT experience

• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested by the Business Line Linac solutions management team.

• Identifies process gaps and product deficiencies. Takes initiative and leads improvement change at a local level.

• Proactively identifies and improves process gaps and product deficiencies.

• Adapts quickly and positively to complex or challenging situations.

• Mastery of service support processes, applying logical thinking and structured approaches in most complex situations.

• Proven leadership skills within a defined scope and the ability to coach others.

The right stuff

• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective communication with team members and customers.

• Excellent presentation skills are necessary for effectively communicating to groups.

• Ability to interact with customers effectively, both remotely and face-to-face, is crucial for successful collaboration and support.

What you bring

Below are the skills necessary for this role:

• Experience with Monaco and/or MOSAIQ technical skills

• Experience within the clinical Radiation Oncology IT field or similar

• Working knowledge/understanding of Elekta products and proficiency in assigned product specialties

• Experience with Citrix deployment and maintenance

• Ability to commit to traveling between 50% to 75% as part of this role

Good to have:

• Experience with Microsoft Server operating systems is required.

• Experience with SQL server installation, maintenance, migrations, and upgrades is essential.

• Experience with Linux/Unix systems is advantageous.

• Networking experience is required, with a preference for CCNA or equivalent certification.

• Experience in enterprise IT is advantageous.

• Familiarity/proficiency with software such as MS Teams, Outlook, MS-Office Suite, Visio, WebEx, and QlikSense is required.
