Overview
We are seeking a Dental Practice Coordinoator who will serve as a pivotal link between developers, insurance verification agents, and management within our organization. The ideal candidate should possess basic proficiency in Google Suite and have a general understanding of Dental Electronic Medical Records (EMRs), specifically Open Dental.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate communication and address queries between developers, insurance verification agents, and management.
- Utilize Google Suite tools effectively to manage and organize communication and documentation.
- Provide support and assistance in navigating Open Dental EMRs.
- Engage in client interaction and manage relationships effectively.
Requirements:
- Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrably extroverted personality.
- Previous experience in client relationship management and handling phone calls is preferred.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and software platforms.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Dental EMRs, specifically Open Dental, is highly advantageous.
- Experience in a similar role within the healthcare or software industry.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Participate in sales activities, though it is not the primary focus. Training will be provided for sales-related tasks.
- Maintain a positive and outgoing demeanor to foster strong client relationships.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree / Equivalent preferred in Dentistry Majors
- Previous experience in dental office administration or similar role preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with developers, insurance verification agents, and management.
- Demonstrated extroverted personality with confidence in engaging with clients and colleagues.
- Basic proficiency in Google Suite tools such as Gmail, Google Docs, and Google Sheets for communication and documentation.
- General understanding of Dental Electronic Medical Records (EMRs), particularly with Open Dental or similar software.
- Previous experience in client relationship management, including handling phone calls and resolving client inquiries.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and software platforms as required by the role.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for efficient management of client interactions and documentation.
- Proactive problem-solving skills with a focus on addressing client issues promptly and effectively.
- Capacity to work collaboratively within a team environment, contributing to overall organizational goals.
- Willingness to participate in sales activities to support client engagement and satisfaction.
