ECS is seeking talented and driven professionals to support the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H) Office of Information Technology and Data Innovation (ITDI). In this role, you will serve as a technical advisor to ARPA-H—enabling the agency to manage and provide oversight to advanced R&D efforts; help shape future R&D concepts, programs, and solutions; integrate and advance our nation’s healthcare ecosystem processes, policies, and enabling technologies; and enable the agency to expand its healthcare and scientific scope into yet unknown areas. As an advisor within ARPA-H, you will provide support and thought leadership to R&D performer teams, Government Program Managers, and stakeholders across the health innovation ecosystem.
ARPA-H ITDI plays a pivotal role in advancing the agency’s mission by providing strategic guidance and support for all matters related to information technology and data infrastructure. ITDI advises agency leadership and programs on the effective use, governance, and allocation of technology and data resources, ensuring these assets are aligned with the agency’s cutting-edge research and development objectives. The office drives innovation by supporting the creation, deployment, and oversight of tools that enable data governance, advanced analytics, and responsive technology solutions tailored to emerging programmatic needs.
As an advisor to ARPA-H ITDI you will serve as a strategic and technical expert, providing high-level guidance to agency leadership and program teams on matters related to IT, data infrastructure, and emerging technologies. You would assess current systems and capabilities, identifying opportunities for modernization or optimization, and ensure technology investments align with the agency’s mission and evolving needs. You would act as a liaison with stakeholders across HHS and the federal government to ensure alignment with broader IT and data policies, ensuring ARPA-H maintains a future-ready, secure, and innovative digital environment that supports breakthrough health research.
Salary Range: $80,000 - $220,000
